Quantity Surveyor Job Opportunity at Caddy Group Limited

Caddy Group Limited is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a leading provider of groundwork and civil engineering services, we are looking for a skilled professional to manage project budgets, cost plans, and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and manage project budgets and cost plans to ensure timely completion and within budget.
  • Manage procurement processes, including sourcing and negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers to achieve the best possible prices.
  • Assess and certify subcontractor payments and variations to ensure accuracy and fairness.
  • Monitor and manage project cash flow to ensure timely invoicing and payments.
  • Provide regular financial reports and forecasts to senior management to inform business decisions.
  • Assist in the preparation and negotiation of final accounts to ensure a smooth project closure.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the groundworks or civil engineering sector.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and procurement processes.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools, such as Microsoft Excel and QS software.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field, such as a BSc in Quantity Surveying or a RICS accredited degree.
  • Full UK driving license is preferred.
