About the Role:

Our client, a reputable Rail & Civil Engineering contractor, is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their team. With a strong nationwide reputation and a turnover of £85M, they offer a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including City fibre contracts, P-Way, OLE, and civil engineering schemes.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. You will work closely with the project team to identify and mitigate risks, and develop strategies to optimize project outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

⁠ ⁠Managing project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control

⁠ ⁠Coordinating with project teams to identify and mitigate risks

⁠ ⁠Developing strategies to optimize project outcomes

⁠ ⁠Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met

Requirements:

⁠ ⁠4+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the UK

⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge of civil engineering and rail projects

⁠ ⁠Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

⁠ ⁠Ability to work independently and as part of a team
