Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional advice and solutions to ensure compliance with legislation and best practice.
  • Develop and implement Health and Safety best practice, ensuring the Company complies with current health and safety legislation, approved codes of practice, and guidance.
  • Work proactively with all levels of management to establish and maintain a safe system of work and a safe environment for colleagues and clients.
  • Assist in the planning and promotion of health, safety, environment, and quality programs, and establish a suitable organization to put them into effect.
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH/NCRQ Level 6 (NVQ Level 5 as a minimum standard).
  • EUSR or CSCS in a related subject.
  • NRSWA (SWQR).
  • Working knowledge of HSG47.
  • Power/Fibre/Water/Gas experience.
  • Proficient in Accident/Incident investigation & RCA.
  • Proficient in data analysis & compiling Reports.
  • Competent in core standard Microsoft Software.
