We are seeking an experienced Shift Coordinator to join our Operations team at Princes Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support the team in achieving maximum utilisation of resources and equipment to meet production targets.
- Deputise for Shift Operations Manager as required and provide cover for absences.
- Proactively manage the team to meet daily/weekly production plan demand and ensure operational flexibility.
- Ensure the safety of our people and products, and maintain a safe working environment.
- Focus on short to medium-term strategies to enable the factory to respond to growth plans and achieve business objectives.
- Build strong relationships with team members, peers, and colleagues to drive success and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the right values and behaviours are actively modelled and encouraged, and that the supply chain strategy is embedded throughout the team and department.
- Manage budgets and assist in capital expenditure projects, and encourage a culture of continuous improvement.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with others, lead self and others, and deliver results through others.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to plan and organise.
- IT literacy, including SAP skills, and management and leadership skills.
- Competencies in I.O.S.H.H. and Food Safety Level 3, and knowledge of company policies and procedures.
