Job SummaryWe are seeking an Associate Director to drive the growth of our International Treaty business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for client placements, managing proposals, and handling complex reinsurance accounts. Your expertise will ensure that new business, renewals, and mid-term requirements are met with the best coverage, pricing, and service.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning & Growth: Develop and implement team strategies, identify opportunities to expand our portfolio, and support new business initiatives.
- Technical Excellence: Design optimal reinsurance broking solutions, negotiate with markets to secure the best quality and price, and create and review reinsurance documentation.
- Client & Market Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and underwriters, and stay informed about reinsurance market trends.
- Operational Efficiency: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, oversee administrative processes, and support team recruitment and development.
- Proven experience in reinsurance broking, focusing on P&C reinsurance.
- Deep understanding of reinsurance market dynamics and product knowledge.
- Strong customer focus and communication skills.
- Advanced understanding of the renewal and production cycle.
- Leadership abilities for coaching and mentoring.
- High level of numeracy, literacy, and attention to detail.
