About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate HLTA to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting students and working closely with teaching staff to ensure high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver lessons and lead classroom activities in the absence of the class teacher, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe and respectful atmosphere, fostering a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Support students with their learning and well-being, providing individualized attention and guidance as needed.
Requirements
  • HLTA qualifications are essential for this role.
  • Experience working in a classroom setting is desirable, as is experience working with students with SEN.
  • You must hold a right to work in the UK, an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate, and be willing to provide references upon request.
  • Possess up to date Safeguarding Training or be willing to undertake this.
