Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team at Leidos Innovations UK Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of software projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure the successful execution of projects.
  • Work closely with technical leads to understand and manage complex technical solutions.
  • Manage technical discussions within the programme team and ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third-party vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Requirements:

  • Experience in delivering software projects specifically.
  • Ability to demonstrate experience in Project Management.
  • Experience in SAFe Agile and Waterfall models of delivery cycles.
  • Good interpersonal skills and judgment for dealing with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to engage and work within a multi-functional programme team.
  • Able to demonstrate a sound understanding of business, finance, and personnel management techniques.
  • The ability to communicate, negotiate, and influence effectively.
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with good verbal communication.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • A technical background in software development/test activities.

Clearance Requirements: The successful applicant will be required to hold and maintain UK Security Clearance.
