Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team at Leidos. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of software projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure the successful execution of projects.
  • Work closely with technical leads to understand and manage complex technical solutions.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage resource availability and allocation.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third-party vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Requirements:

  • Experience in delivering software projects, preferably in a technical delivery role.
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with SAFe Agile and Waterfall models of delivery cycles.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and judgment for dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to engage and work within a multi-functional programme team.
  • Good understanding of business, finance, and personnel management techniques.
  • Ability to communicate, negotiate, and influence effectively.
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with good verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • A technical background in software development/test activities.

Clearance Requirements: The successful applicant will be required to hold and maintain UK Security Clearance.
