About the Role

Kennedys is seeking an experienced lawyer to join our catastrophic injury defendant personal injury team in our Birmingham office. We are looking for an individual with defendant motor claims experience to run high-value catastrophic injury cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist on a variety of motor claims, including sensitive and high-profile cases reported in the national media.
  • Support the team in handling cases of the utmost severity, including brain injury, spinal injury, amputations, polytrauma, severe psychiatric injury, and loss of senses.
  • Work with large composite and motor insurers, London market insurers, and corporates to deliver exceptional results.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues to ensure seamless case management.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in personal injury defence work, with a strong background in catastrophic injury cases.
  • Litigation experience and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
