Job Title: Clinical Haematologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Haematologist to join our team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Clinical Haematologist, you will be responsible for providing clinical and laboratory Haematology services to the population of Worcestershire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical and laboratory Haematology services to inpatients and outpatients
- Participate in the on-call rota and provide cover for normal periods of annual and study leave
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
- Participate in teaching and training of medical and nursing staff
Requirements:
- Full GMC Registration with a Licence to practise
- Success in Intercollegiate Specialty Examination or overseas equivalent
- Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining (UK) CCT in Clinical Haematology
- Ability to offer expert clinical opinion on range of problems both emergency and elective within specialty
- Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients
