About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adult Education Lecturer to join our team at Coventry City Council. As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and reporting on high-quality adult learning programmes in English Language.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging and effective adult learning programmes in English Language
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of the Adult Education Service's strategic plan and objectives
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective service delivery
  • Monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
  • Relevant teaching experience in adult education, preferably in English Language
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum practice and issues in adult education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends
