Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Management Technician to join our team at Lucas Kennedy Group. As an Asset Management Technician, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's hardware assets, ensuring they are properly inventoried, tracked, and disposed of when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock Room Management: Oversee the organization and maintenance of our stock room, ensuring all assets are properly stored and easily accessible.
- Stock Balance and Location Audits: Conduct regular audits to ensure accurate stock balances and locations, identifying any discrepancies or issues.
- Phone Line Management: Manage phone lines across EMEA, ensuring they are properly configured and functioning correctly.
- Hardware Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of hardware assets, from procurement to disposal, ensuring they are properly maintained and upgraded as needed.
- New Joiner/Exit Management: Coordinate the onboarding and offboarding of new employees, ensuring all necessary assets are properly assigned or collected.
- Asset Tagging: Ensure all equipment is properly tagged and tracked, making it easier to locate and manage assets.
- Imagine and Provisioning: Imagine and provision devices as needed, ensuring they are properly configured and ready for use.
- Deployment and Retrieval: Deploy and retrieve hardware assets as needed, ensuring they are properly managed and maintained.
Requirements
- Previous experience within Asset Management in a corporate environment.
- Active Directory – user management is key.
- SCCM – Managing and deploying applications.
- Multi-factor authentication – Okta would be great but understanding of MFA is more important than the tool.
- Citrix – Knowledge of using Citrix Director.
- ServiceNow – Incident and request management. ITIL knowledge would be nice here also.
- Experience with hardware asset.
- 3-5 years experience within IT Support.

We are looking for someone with exceptionally strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a passion for learning and personal growth. You should be proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively with little direction. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be working closely with colleagues and stakeholders.
