We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team at Birmingham City Council. As a key member of our Digital and Technology Services team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and transforming our data landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement robust data architectures that enable data-driven decisions
- Develop and maintain data governance structures, ensuring data quality and standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and provide insights
- Lead the development of data integration, storage, transformation, and modelling components
- Extensive knowledge of current data engineering tools and techniques
- Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions
- Expertise in Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Data Lake
- Advanced skills in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric
- Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure HDInsight
