Your shift pattern will typically include:
  • Monday: Mornings
  • Tuesday: Mornings
  • Wednesday: Mornings
  • Thursday: Off
  • Friday: Off
  • Saturday: Mornings
  • Sunday: Mornings
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high and low dusting, mopping, wiping, and scrubbing surfaces.
  • Clean wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, and public areas.
  • Ensure rubbish bins are emptied and maintained.
  • Maintain high hospital standards by ensuring all areas are clean, presentable, and safe for visitors, adhering to required policies and procedures.
  • Utilize equipment according to Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Demonstrate a passion for patient care and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
  • Work efficiently under pressure, both independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet business needs.
  • Be confident in a hospital environment, understanding that you may encounter patients who are unwell or distressed.
  • No prior experience as a Healthcare Cleaning Operative is necessary; what matters most is your pride in your work and willingness to learn and support our patients.
  • This position requires a Disclosure & Barring Service check, with costs covered by the employer.
