Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Debt Capital Markets Analyst to join our dynamic Debt Management Division within Group Treasury Management. This critical role will contribute significantly to the management and optimization of our substantial global assets, cash flows, and investment banking relationships.
The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of corporate finance, loan administration, bank relationships, and investor interactions. They will be responsible for providing technical expertise in loan administration systems, generating and drafting management reports, and preparing external communications. Furthermore, they will demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams on complex, non-routine financial projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of debt capital markets and may lead various aspects of corporate debt issuances. They will also be instrumental in establishing relevant systems and procedures to support our company's debt management efforts. This position involves extensive interaction with senior finance management, project development teams, and bank relationship managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with legal and investor relations teams to prepare comprehensive information memoranda and associated materials for potential investors.
- Assist in formulating and implementing strategic financing policies and procedures to ensure optimal financial flexibility at the group level.
- Manage our multi-billion dollar credit facilities, including processing payments to and from external parties.
- Conduct rigorous testing of financial controls and ensure adherence to established guidelines and regulations.
- Draft and distribute timely credit facility reports to management and external stakeholders as required.
- Review credit facility agreements in coordination with legal departments.
- Provide essential financial support to our joint ventures as needed.
- Coordinate closely with Accounting to ensure accurate recording of loan accruals and records.
- Maintain strict compliance with debt covenants and reporting requirements.
- Mentor and develop junior professional staff members.
- Collaborate effectively with relevant stakeholders to assess cash funding requirements.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of capital markets, investment banking, and various financing vehicles across the corporate capital structure.
- Engage with executives within the investment banking community and senior management.
- Assist in structuring, pricing, and negotiating debt issuances.
