A highly reputable Building Services Consultancy, RGB Recruitment, is seeking a Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer to join their team. This individual would be from an MEP consultancy background or an experienced contracts manager/design manager from within an MEP contractor. They would need to be self-sufficient on a range of projects and be able to facilitate the learning and support of junior colleagues.

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree, have achieved either CEng or IEng through an appropriate engineering institution, and have a minimum of 10 years relevant experience. The position provides excellent career opportunities and benefits from a first-rate remuneration package. The successful candidate will be client-facing and comfortable in developing, supporting, and mentoring others.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Must have a mechanical/electrical building services background
  2. Competent in leading design projects and managing internal engineering teams
  3. Have a sound commercial, financial, and contractual understanding of working in a consulting practice
  4. Ability to represent the company in client and multi-disciplinary design team meetings
  5. Experience with Revit, Cymap, or Hevacomp

The successful candidate will possess dynamic, driven, and approachable personality traits with a good level of emotional intelligence. They will be able to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the growth and success of the company.
