Senior Electrical Engineer Opportunity

Salary: £40k-£58k

Location: Truro

RGB Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer to join a reputable Building Services Consultancy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP consultancy or experience as a contracts manager/design manager within an MEP contractor. They will be self-sufficient on a range of projects and able to facilitate the learning and support of junior colleagues.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree, have achieved CEng or IEng through an appropriate engineering institution, and have a minimum of 10 years relevant experience. This role provides excellent career opportunities and benefits from a first-rate remuneration package. The candidate will be client-facing and comfortable in developing, supporting, and mentoring others.

Key Requirements:

  1. Must have a mechanical/electrical building services background
  2. Competent in leading design projects and managing internal engineering teams
  3. Have a sound commercial, financial and contractual understanding of working in a consulting practice
  4. Ability to represent the company in client and multi-disciplinary design team meetings
  5. Experience with Revit, Cymap or Hevacomp
  6. Personality traits of an ideal candidate are; dynamic, driven, and approachable with a good level of emotional intelligence
  7. Preferably, the successful candidate will live within a commutable 45-mile radius of the office
