Recreational Activities Coordinator

32 hours per week. Shift pattern would include every other weekend.
A weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour will be paid from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday.
Gloucestershire House is a specially designed facility, comprising six distinct additional bungalows, accommodating 36 adults with physical disabilities. This service has received an outstanding rating from CQC.
Role Overview
As a Recreational Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for implementing a variety of engaging and enjoyable social and recreational activities, creating exciting opportunities for our residents. Your role will involve organizing outings and events, where your creativity and enthusiasm for providing diverse options will significantly enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities that we support.
Whether you are orchestrating a large community social gathering, identifying shared interests within smaller groups, or exploring everyone's culinary talents, there will be numerous exciting activities to engage in - your creativity will be essential.
Candidate Profile
No prior experience in activity coordination is necessary; however, a creative mindset, excellent organizational abilities, or a passion for arranging enjoyable social events is essential. Please note that a manual driving license held for a minimum of 2 years is required.
While previous experience in activity coordination or supporting individuals with disabilities is beneficial, it is not mandatory.
