Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Step Resourcing. As a key member of our commercial department, you will be responsible for managing trade packages, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring accurate cost reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage trade packages with subcontractors, agreeing pricing, scope of works, and payment terms
  • Review and negotiate with main suppliers to secure the best deals
  • Oversee day-to-day cost reporting and ensure accuracy
  • Conduct site visits to assess progress and monitor costs
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive approach and ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work in an office-based environment with occasional site visits
