Job Description

Step Teachers is collaborating with a reputable school in search of a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching a class of well-behaved and motivated Primary school students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lesson Delivery: Design and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons that cater to the needs of the students.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a well-organized classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with other members of staff throughout the school.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Compliance: Comply with the school's policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Have recent experience as a Year 6 Teacher – Key Stage 2.
  • Classroom Management: Have a good level of classroom and behavior management.
