Responsibilities

The successful Year 6 Teacher will be responsible for the pastoral care of students transitioning to Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork, and creating a conducive learning environment.

Key responsibilities include teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum, tracking students' progress, and reporting to parents. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching Year 6 students and preparing them for SATs exams.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a qualified teacher status (QTS), PGCE or equivalent, and experience in teaching Year 6 students. A strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methodologies is essential. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
