The Role
We are currently seeking a Production Manager to oversee operations at our expansive limestone quarry. In this pivotal role, you will manage a large team and take charge of the extraction and operational processes within the quarry.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the designated representative in the absence of the quarry manager, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Promoting a culture of safety and sustainability throughout the workplace.
- Maintaining the site's financial performance in alignment with budgetary expectations and ensuring accurate reporting for financial accountability.
- Implementing and upholding the company's health and safety regulations, quality assurance, and environmental policies.
- Strategically overseeing quarry operations in accordance with geotechnical assessments and operational plans.
- Knowledgeable about quarry regulations, health and safety standards, and employment laws.
- A strong leader capable of nurturing talent and supporting team development.
- Possessing excellent communication skills to foster effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organized with proven abilities in planning and execution.
- Familiar with financial management and budget oversight.
