Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to establish and manage a new children's residential home in Bolton. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for setting up the service from scratch, including OFSTED registration and staff recruitment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Registration Process: Oversee the registration process with OFSTED, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Develop and Implement Policies: Create and implement policies and procedures to meet OFSTED standards, ensuring the highest level of care and support for children and young people.
- Provide Strong Leadership: Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- Oversee Daily Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the residential home, ensuring the smooth running of the service.
- Ensure High-Quality Care: Ensure the home delivers high-quality, child-centered care, meeting the needs of each individual child.
- Manage Budget: Manage the home's budget effectively, ensuring the efficient use of resources.
- Establish Relationships: Establish and maintain positive relationships with external agencies, including local authorities and other stakeholders.
- Monitor and Evaluate: Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, making improvements as necessary.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a managerial role within a children's residential setting.
- Skills: Proven experience with OFSTED registration and inspections, strong knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures, excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
