About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our interdisciplinary chronic pain team based in the East Sussex area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessments and formulations, and delivering individual and group interventions to patients with chronic pain.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with chronic pain, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Conduct thorough assessments and formulations to identify the underlying causes of chronic pain and develop tailored interventions to address these.
- Deliver high-quality individual and group interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and other evidence-based approaches.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and national clinical stakeholders, including IAPT services, GPs, and secondary care providers.
- Provide advice and consultation on psychological aspects of pain management to other healthcare professionals, advancing knowledge and practice in the field.
