Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
As a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing professional psychological practice within the service. Your primary responsibilities will include providing support, coordination, and administration to clinical, training, and research functions within the scope of your training and competence.
You will work independently, according to a plan agreed and reviewed through regular supervision by a HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist. You will also undertake projects relating to service development and evaluation, and set up databases and spreadsheets using advanced IT skills in evaluation, audit, and research.
Key responsibilities will include supporting assessment and treatment interventions undertaken by the service, as appropriate to your level of competence and training. You will also plan, organise, and co-teach psycho-educational courses and groups with appropriately qualified professional staff, and liaise with a range of services relevant to the working area.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
- HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
- Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Psychology
- Experience of working in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
