About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team at HomeCareDirect. As a Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our client to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to our client, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and medication administration.
  • Support our client in maintaining their physical and emotional well-being, including accompanying them on social trips and holidays.
  • Work collaboratively with our client's family and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and person-centered approach to care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our client's care plan, ensuring their needs are met and their goals are achieved.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of our client's care and support, including administering medication and recording vital signs.
Requirements
  • At least 6 months of recent experience in a care setting, with a strong understanding of person-centered care principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our client, their family, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to care.
  • Full, clean UK driving license and access to a vehicle (for occasional use).
  • Non-smoker and comfortable around cats.
