Join a prominent regional construction firm recognized for its outstanding performance across various sectors.

This organization is embarking on a significant project in the Fareham area, which aims to develop 6,000 residential units along with extensive community facilities, commercial structures, educational institutions, and more.

The project encompasses multiple phases over the next decade, including the construction of offices, educational facilities, scientific and industrial structures, hotels, and additional commercial spaces.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the successful execution of construction projects from the late preconstruction phase through to site commencement and the construction period.
  • Collaborate with fellow site managers and project managers to ensure that plans and designs adhere to project specifications and standards.
  • Lead and manage trade and labor teams, ensuring operations are efficient and effective.
  • Strictly enforce health and safety protocols on-site.
  • Provide updates to the Project Manager regarding any risks, issues, and timelines related to the area of work.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in guiding construction projects from inception to completion and handover. A solid technical understanding of all construction phases is essential.

Experience with high-end finishes and heritage/listed buildings is preferred, as the design aims for a traditional heritage aesthetic.


Requirements:
  • Background in main contracting or heritage/listed building projects is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in delivering high-end construction initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects from the ground up to handover.
  • A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to high standards of quality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Mandatory qualifications include SMSTS/SSSTS and CSCS.
