Opportunity Overview: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Financial Management Assistant to become part of a reputable and expanding organization.

Role Summary: In this position, you will support the Financial Controller during a significant system integration, ensuring the finance department operates smoothly. This role is diverse and offers the potential for permanent employment following the initial contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations for two separate entities.
  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts.
  • Handle VAT and CIS reporting.
  • Perform data analysis and review metadata.
  • Manage bank postings and reconciliations for two entities.
  • Undertake additional duties to support the finance team.

Candidate Profile: We are looking for individuals with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or a graduate with an accounting degree.
  • Proficient in UK accounting practices with relevant experience.
  • IT literate, particularly in O365, with a strong command of Microsoft Excel.
  • Self-motivated with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A collaborative team player with a flexible approach.

Working Conditions: Initially, this role will be office-based for training purposes, with the possibility of hybrid working arrangements thereafter. Candidates must have their own transport due to the location.
