Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse to join our Specialist CAMHS PICU team in South East London as a senior staff nurse (band 6). As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to children and adolescents with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a full multidisciplinary team to deliver positive outcomes for patients and their families.
  • Work with patients who may have complex needs and behaviors that challenge.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and carers.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous development of the service.

Requirements:

  • Relevant nursing qualification (RMN or RNLD).
  • Valid NMC registration with no restrictions.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK (British passport holder or biometric card).
  • Experience within a CAMHS or PICU service.
  • Strong team working skills.
  • A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach.
  • A positive attitude and naturally caring and compassionate.
  • A commitment to high-quality care, values, and evidence-based practice.
