Aramark is seeking a dedicated Food Service Assistant to join our team at Alanbrooke Barracks, Thirsk.
This part-time role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing excellent service to a diverse customer base.
Your Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen, including equipment, back-of-house areas, crockery, and cutlery.
- Ensure the cleanliness of counters, light equipment, food preparation areas, and public spaces.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers with efficiency and accuracy.
- Operate tills and handle cash transactions responsibly.
- Complete daily paperwork and maintain accurate records as required.
- Adhere to strict food hygiene and safety procedures at all times.
- Communicate any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards to your line manager promptly.

About You:
We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
A Food Hygiene and Health & Safety Level 2 qualification or willingness to obtain it through our e-learning system is required.
Basic numeracy skills are essential, and due to the remote location of the site, reliable transport is necessary.
A DBS check will be required for this role.
