Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Legal to join our team at Forseven. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's legal strategy and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the UK legal team, providing strategic direction and ensuring high performance
- Establish and implement best practices for legal operations, including development of legal strategy, policy and procedure from the ground up, in alignment with the company's business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the drafting and negotiation of a wide range of commercial agreements, including global partnerships, digital and IP, sales and procurement.
- Manage and resolve legal disputes and litigation, working closely with external counsel when necessary.
- Work closely cross functionally, including Engineering and Purchasing to provide legal support, training and guidance.
- Manage legal cost/budget.
- International Projects: Opportunities to support on global projects, with project management of external lawyers.
Requirements
- Law degree from an accredited institution;
- Strong technical background with in-depth knowledge of UK laws and regulations. Automotive and technology experience preferred.
- Proven experience in managing complex legal issues both in the UK and internationally.
- Commercially astute with the ability to align legal strategies with business goals.
