Position: Specialized Primary Education Support Assistant

Location: Tower Hamlets

Working Hours: 8:45 AM - 3:45 PM, Term-time Only

Compensation: £ PAYE

Protocol Education is collaborating with various mainstream Primary Schools in Tower Hamlets seeking dedicated full-time Education Support Assistants to provide essential support to their most vulnerable students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

In this role, you will engage directly with children diagnosed with Autism on a one-to-one basis, ensuring they receive the tailored support they require.

Our partner institutions are in search of enthusiastic, committed, and dependable individuals who aspire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students every day.

Your contribution will be crucial in helping the students under your guidance achieve significant progress.

You will collaborate closely with your classroom teacher, Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENDCO), and external agencies to guarantee that a high standard of education is consistently delivered.

While prior experience in working with SEND is advantageous, comprehensive training will be offered to the right candidates.

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of child development principles and effective practices in early childhood education.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

  • A sincere passion for working with young learners and a dedication to delivering high-quality education and care.
  • Awareness of safeguarding and child protection regulations.

All quoted pay rates will include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of a permanent role becoming available later.
