This Finance Business Partner position offers the perfect opportunity to work closely with the sales team, providing strategic input and commercial information to drive business growth.

As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for business control activities, business development, and planning. You will work closely with the General Manager to make commercial decisions and support the sales team in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the GM with commercial decision making and support the sales team
  • Undertake customer visits and provide relevant financial information
  • Focus on business control activities that add value to the business
  • Business development and planning, including price management and benchmarking
  • Cost planning and control in relation to revenue
  • Support saving initiatives in purchasing
  • Business governance and securing legal and statutory compliance
  • Implementing and fine-tuning effective business control processes and tools
  • Working with the management team to align business control with stakeholder needs
  • Business partnering and stakeholder management

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (not essential)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Business partnering experience, ideally alongside sales teams
  • Good mix of technical and accounting skills
  • Good exposure to an ERP system like Oracle or SAP
