About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team at Data Careers. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and delivering complex IT projects from initiation to closure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, resource allocation, and risk management strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, service delivery, security, and Dev/Ops, to ensure effective project governance and stakeholder management.
  • Manage and coordinate the deployment of resources, including reassessment and reallocation, to achieve optimum results.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and external partners.
  • Ensure compliance with industry-recognized project management methodologies, such as PRINCE 2.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on project planning and control techniques, including product/work breakdown structures, baselining, critical path analysis, earned value, resource analysis, and conflict resolution.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to minimize their impact.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of IT architecture, networks, cloud technologies, and infrastructure from a project delivery perspective.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in project management, delivering successful concurrent ICT projects using an industry-recognized approach.
  • Strong project governance skills and experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management experience.
  • Broad technical understanding of IT architecture, networks, cloud technologies, and infrastructure from a project delivery perspective.
  • Expertise in project planning and control techniques, including product/work breakdown structures, baselining, critical path analysis, earned value, resource analysis, and conflict resolution.
  • Experience in effective and efficient deployment of resources, including reassessment and reallocation, to achieve optimum results.
  • Knowledge in project risk management, with the ability to effectively and efficiently manage risk within the project.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Great energy and drive.
  • You will need to be able to demonstrate that you have lived and worked in the UK for the last 5 years in order to meet the security vetting required for this role.
