Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Housing Solicitor with 0-5 years PQE to join our successful and professional team at Hodge Jones & Allen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on housing law matters, including homelessness reviews and appeals, possession claims, and disrepair claims.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, utilizing advocacy skills to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Manage a busy and varied workload, working independently and as part of a team to deliver excellent client care.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in housing law and regulations, applying this knowledge to provide expert advice and representation.

Requirements:

  • Good experience and working knowledge of housing law.
  • Experience with the Legal Aid Portal (CCMS) and dealing with homelessness reviews and appeals, possession claims, and disrepair claims.
  • Strong advocacy skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and dedicated approach to delivering excellent client care.
