Job Title: Vehicle Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at JLD Recruitment Ltd. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair on customer vehicles, identifying problems using diagnostic equipment, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify problems and diagnose issues
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers
  • Participate in in-house and manufacturer-based training to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies

Requirements:

  • NVQ/City & Guilds certifications required (Equivalent certifications can be accepted to a level 3 standard)
  • Hold a valid UK manual driving license with no more than 3 points
  • Ability to provide a friendly customer service and maintain a professional appearance at all times
  • Flexible and willing to learn and adapt to new responsibilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to use diagnostic equipment
  • MOT tester ideal - but not essential
