Vehicle Technician Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team at OurClient, a well-established Car Dealership in Basildon, Essex. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Repair or replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems
  • Conduct inspections and perform preventative maintenance tasks
  • Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
  • Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functionality
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a mechanic or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
