Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and evaluate components according to TechnipFMC standards, while applying and enhancing foundational skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Complete necessary documentation for testing, including reports on test outcomes and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
  • Ensure cleanliness of components post-assembly in accordance with TechnipFMC guidelines and verbal or written instructions.
  • Record labor details in the time tracking system and allocate time to respective projects.
  • Engage actively in Lean initiatives and contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize material handling equipment to transport parts and components as needed.
  • Perform all tasks safely, maintaining awareness of potential hazards in the work environment, and uphold cleanliness in the workspace.
  • Acquire knowledge of procedures and prioritize safety in preparation for advancement.
  • Support fellow assemblers in advanced tasks as part of training.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education, contingent upon successful completion of an aptitude and reading comprehension assessment during the pre-employment process.
  • Strong understanding of basic mathematics and proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending English. Ability to interpret engineering and welding drawings.
  • Proficient in using personal computers and/or workstations.
  • A minimum of two years of mechanical experience is preferred.
  • Capable of operating High Torque Wrenches, Overhead Cranes, Jib Cranes, Forklifts, and Rigging. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as tapes, rulers, and pressure gauges.
