Pastry Night Baker Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Night Baker to join our team at Layers Bakery in Leamouth, London. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of bakery items to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Preparation: Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment to ensure consistency in product quality and taste.
  • Baking and Cooking: Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, bread slicer, prover to produce high-quality baked goods.
  • Delivery and Packaging: Pack delivery for drivers, print delivery notes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of our products.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a professional kitchen or bakery setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of food production techniques and baking principles, ability to operate commercial baking equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions accurately, excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
