Your Role:

As a key member of our IT Service Delivery team, reporting to the IT Service Delivery Lead in the UK, you will be instrumental in ensuring the effective and smooth provision of IT services throughout the organization. Your main responsibilities will include assisting the IT Service Delivery team in resolving service-related issues, managing the procurement of IT hardware, software, and licenses, coordinating hardware deliveries, collaborating with internal IT teams and external vendors, facilitating the Change Authorisation Board, and supporting IT migration initiatives.

You will be part of a collaborative and dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional service. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to enhance the standards of the IT Service Delivery team while taking on increased responsibilities and expanding your expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the procurement of end-user computing hardware, software, and licenses.
  • Generate purchase orders for the IT Service Delivery team and assist other IT teams in adhering to the procurement process.
  • Coordinate the delivery and return of end-user computing hardware to various offices and remote users globally.
  • Support the IT Service Delivery team in providing efficient IT services to the organization and other IT departments.
  • Assist the IT Service Delivery team and Change Managers in conducting weekly Change Authorisation Board meetings.
  • Help monitor performance and manage relationships with external vendors and Managed Service Providers.
  • Lead and manage smaller ad-hoc projects, such as hardware or software migrations.
  • Contribute to larger ad-hoc projects within the IT Service Delivery team as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for enhanced efficiency and cost savings.
  • Monitor incident performance metrics.
  • Promote adherence to IT policies and processes across IT and business teams.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes:

  • Demonstrated experience in an IT Service Coordinator or a comparable role.
  • Prior experience collaborating with external vendors.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in the Events or Exhibitions sector is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with ITIL principles or experience in an ITIL environment is advantageous but not essential.
