Maintenance Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Hunter Selection. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our manufacturing area, ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering and operational support to our manufacturing area
  • Set up and maintain automated inspection systems
  • Conduct fault finding and corrective action
  • Perform machine inspections and respond to minor breakdowns
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Prepare sub-assemblies and other tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Formal qualification in electrical engineering or a related field
  • Machine setting and PLC experience
  • Desirable skills: pneumatics, robotics, and automation

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: £39,000 - £46,700 dependent on experience
