Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Estimating Specialist to join our team at Stride Resourcing, specializing in high-end residential joinery projects with values up to £1,000,000.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit detailed cost estimates and tender documents for projects.
  • Produce AutoCAD and SketchUp drawings to support tender submissions and articulate subcontractor requirements.
  • Gather quotes from subcontractors and suppliers for specialist items.
Project Financial Management:
  • Manage project allowances, ensuring they are not exceeded.
  • Identify any financial changes that may affect project profitability.
Surveying:
  • Monitor and control cost variations, accurately pricing and recording their impact on final accounts.
Reconciliation:
  • Reconcile all elements of project quotations, including design, manufacturing, finishing, installation, and material costs.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in estimating or surveying, particularly in joinery or high-end residential projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work with subcontractors and build supplier relationships.
