  • Performance Optimization: Enhance application performance and scalability by identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and rectify technical issues within existing applications.
  • Documentation: Create and uphold comprehensive technical documentation for all developed applications.
  • Collaboration: Engage closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and fellow developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Code Review: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure compliance with best practices and coding standards.
  • Testing: Develop and execute unit tests to guarantee code quality and functionality.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in Progress OpenEdge ABL, version 10 and above.
    • Strong understanding of database design and development principles.
    • Experience in Progress OpenEdge database management and performance tuning.
    • Familiarity with GUI development using Progress OpenEdge.
    • Knowledge of web technologies and integrations (HTML, JavaScript, RESTful APIs) is advantageous.
