Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Events Chef to join our team, responsible for delivering exceptional private dining room menus, whole-house events, and off-site events. As an integral member of our events department, you will work closely with our Group Executive Chef, owner, and Head of Operations to drive the creative evolution and growth of our events business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of innovative events menus, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Collaborate with our head chef to manage events planning, preparation, and execution, including morning shifts for prep, attendance at weekly meetings, and service during events.
  • Contribute to the management and planning of events, including labour costs, stock takes, food gross profit, and operational expenses.
  • Ensure timely completion of administrative tasks, including HR and health and safety compliance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a chef, with a strong track record in event planning and execution.
  • Ability to plan and execute events for up to 300 guests.
  • Desire to learn and grow with our company, with a passion for food, cooking, and hospitality.
