About the Role

We are seeking an experienced medical receptionist to join our team at Feldon Practice. As a key member of our front desk team, you will provide exceptional customer service to our patients and ensure the smooth operation of our medical practice.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to our medical team, including managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and handling phone calls.
  • Deal with general enquiries, explain procedures, and make new and follow-up appointments.
  • Use your communication skills to ensure that patients with no prior appointment but need urgent consultation are seen in a logical and non-disruptive manner.
  • Explain practice arrangements and formal requirements to new patients and those seeking temporary cover.
  • Enter patient information on our computer clinical system as required.
  • Action tasks sent via workflow.

Requirements

  • GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths.
  • Good English written and language skills.
  • Knowledge of EMIS Web (training will be provided).
  • Reception experience.
  • Team working.
  • Communication skills.
