As a Maintenance Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities are safe, functional, and welcoming for all residents and staff.
Company: Bupa
Compensation: £13 - £13.50 per hour based on experience
Work Schedule: 30 hours per week, from 9am to 5pm
Contract Type: 6 months fixed term
Core Responsibilities:
- Conducting maintenance and repair tasks with a focus on quality and minimal disruption.
- Assisting in the management of the maintenance budget and taking initiative as necessary.
- Performing internal decoration and ensuring all areas are kept to a high standard.
- Identifying and reporting unrepairable issues to management for further action.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and conducting necessary checks.
- Being available for on-call support outside of regular hours.
Qualifications and Skills:
A valid driving license is required. Candidates should possess a building, electrical, or plumbing qualification, or have at least three years of experience in property maintenance or general repairs. Experience in site management and working with contractors is a plus. A friendly demeanor and strong understanding of building services such as heating, plumbing, and electrical systems are essential. Candidates should be adaptable and willing to collaborate with team members and residents.
