Project Director Opportunity

RPS Group is seeking a highly skilled Project Director to join our team in Birmingham. As a Project Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of Project Managers and mentoring more junior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of Project Managers and mentoring more junior members of the team
  • Taking the lead on client relationships within the sector
  • Cost planning, including producing cost plans for commercial purposes
  • Preparation of tender documents
  • Preparation of reports through the project process
  • Pre and post-contract duties on a variety of public and commercial projects
  • Visiting sites to conduct assessments of interim valuations and final accounts

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of JCT Contract
  • Ability to implement the principles of construction contract practice
  • A strong desire to learn and develop professional skills
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills
  • IT skills - Excel essential
  • Strong Health and Safety awareness
