Role Responsibilities
The Ceramic Production Supervisor will play a crucial role in managing the tile production process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products for various architectural projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Management: Oversee the creation of handmade ceramic tiles and custom products.
- Coordinate production schedules and workflows to meet project timelines.
- Implement and maintain quality control standards to ensure product excellence.
- Manage routine maintenance and repairs of production equipment.
- Review and adjust cost estimates for product pricing.
- Order materials and manage inventory for production needs.
- Adopt a continuous improvement mindset to enhance production processes and resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor the production team, fostering a positive work culture.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and one-on-one meetings with team members.
- Facilitate the onboarding and training of new staff.
Product Development:
- Collaborate on product innovation and development initiatives.
- Create samples and prototypes for custom projects.
Client Communication:
- Lead client interactions for bespoke projects, providing updates and managing expectations.
- Participate in team meetings to share production insights and project statuses.
Additional Responsibilities:
As part of a small team, all members are expected to contribute to various tasks necessary for achieving company goals.
