Our client is a prestigious consultancy recognized for delivering innovative solutions in energy efficiency, carbon management, and cost reduction for leading brands.

Position Summary:
They are currently seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role will be based in a collaborative office environment.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will report to the Associate Director and will be an integral part of the electrical design team, responsible for:

  • Managing the design, specifications, and project management of electrical projects across all RIBA stages.
  • Leading multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring compliance with British Standards and relevant legislation.
  • Conducting feasibility studies and preparing energy efficiency reports, including assessments for Solar PV, LED Lighting, and Electric Vehicle Charging.
  • Participating in project meetings and regular design department discussions to plan workload schedules.
  • Building strong relationships with team members and assisting in the implementation of quality assurance procedures.
  • Mentoring Junior and Graduate Engineers, fostering their development and training.
  • Supporting the Design Manager in executing the overall design strategy.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional registration with CIBSE and/or IET is preferred.
  • Experience in electrical engineering, consultancy, or installations.
  • Proficiency in design calculation software such as AutoCAD, Dialux, Hevacomp, and Amtech.
  • A solid understanding of industry regulations and electrical design standards.
  • Knowledge of utility services, including new connections and disconnections.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize workload effectively while maintaining clear communication with clients and design teams.

Compensation and Benefits:
The position offers a competitive salary range of £25k - £40k, depending on experience, along with a bonus structure and a comprehensive benefits package, including:
