A fantastic steel firm in the heart of the black country have tasked me with finding a mechanically bias maintenance engineer. My client is well-established and the UK’s largest in their sector.

My client is looking for a maintenance engineer to be part of a two-man team on a 3-shift rota. You will be tasked with preventative and reactive maintenance work on all plant and equipment. This role will suit someone with a heavy engineering background.

Maintenance Engineer Benefits:

* Salary £36,000 (basic)

* Fantastic earning potential through OT and shift cover.

Maintenance Engineer Duties:

* X3-shift rota (days, afternoons, nights).

* Installation work.

* Hydraulic system work.

* General welding and fabrication.

* Keep maintenance logs.

* Planned and reactive maintenance.

Maintenance Engineer Requirements:

* Engineering apprenticeship.

* Hydraulics and pneumatics.

* Steel / Heavy engineering experience.

* Welding abilities.

* Bench fitting.

* Basic electrical knowledge would be advantageous.

* Local.
